Triple Wishes from a Legend. XXX
With great sadness we would like to announce the passing of a legend. Born in Coventry, England in 1940, our dad grew up with a passion for motorcycles. If you know Triumph or BSA then you would have heard of our dad. Known for the Trident Triple frame, he gained his fame as Triumph and BSA won the Daytona 200 back in 1971. He continued his need for speed by teaming up with Don Vesco and the Turbinator Team at Bonneville Salt Flats getting the land speed record. Rob continued to create bikes, fabricate and break records while making friends along the way. We appreciate all of you reaching out to us. It does mean a lot to us.
Our dad took his last breath 10/16/24 in Chicago Illinois. He was on his way to Wisconsin to live with family. He did leave this world in no pain and on his own terms. He was with family.
We will be celebrating his life by spreading his ashes in the places he loved.
